1lb 316L Stainless Steel TIG Rod

ER316/316L is used for welding types 316 and 316L stainless steels.  It has a maximum carbon content of .03% to reduce the possibility of formation of intergranular carbide precipitation.  This low carbon alloy is not as strong as 316H at elevated temperatures. 

Typical Applications:   

• Primarily used for welding low carbon molybdenum bearing austenitic alloys
• Food and Chemical processing 

Options:

• 1/16, 3/32, 1/8
• 1 lb per tube (Crossfire Brand)
• Rod length is 36″

Approximate number of rods per 1 lb. pack for each diameter:

• 1/16″ (1.6mm): 24 – 28
• 3/32″ (2.4mm): 12 – 14
• 1/8″ (3.2mm): 8 – 10
